Welcome to the online submission system for MDAdvisor.

MDAdvisor: A Journal for the New Jersey Medical Community is a peer-reviewed medical journal with an emphasis on New Jersey. Our intended audience consists of physicians, nurses and other practitioners licensed to practice in New Jersey, as well as public health professionals and others who have an interest in New Jersey healthcare.

Editorial Manager is an electronic manuscript tracking system that allows the user to submit a manuscript online, track the progress of a manuscript in real time, serve as a Reviewer, and communicate with the MDAdvisor Editorial Office. All correspondence regarding your manuscript must go through Editorial Manager.

Detailed, step-by-step instructions for preparing manuscripts can be found in the Author's Instructions. You are encouraged to read these before you begin the submission process, because if you do not adhere to them your manuscript will be returned to you.

To submit a manuscript to MDAdvisor, you may log in to Editorial Manager and simply follow the on-screen instructions. If you are submitting a manuscript, you will be given step-by-step instructions for uploading all of the required documents. If you have been invited to review a manuscript, our Reviewer Instructions will guide you through the process. Should you need to log out or you are disconnected from the system before you have completed your submission or finished writing a review, Editorial Manager will save the information you have entered and you may return at any time to finish your work.

Tips for Using Editorial Manager

First-time users: Select "Register" from the top menu and enter the requested information.

Repeat users: Select "Login" from the top menu and enter your username and password. Then choose the appropriate role. You never need to reregister, even if your role changes (e.g., from author to reviewer).

Authors: Select "Login" and type your username and password. For general information about submissions, select "Instructions for Authors" in the top menu. For information about this online system, select "Author Tutorial" from the side menu.

Reviewers: Select "Login" and type your username and password. You may view and/or download manuscripts and submit comments. For information about this online system, select "Reviewer Tutorial" from the side menu.

Password: If you forget your password, select "Login" from the top menu. Then click "Forget your password?" If you would like to change your username and password, log in to the system and select "Update My Information" from the top menu.
